                  What is Loving-Kindness Meditation?

Loving-Kindness meditation, also known as 'Metta' meditation, is a practice that cultivates our natural capacity for an open and loving heart. And it's a revolutionary practice, in that, it has the power to radically transform our lives, helping us to cultivate authentic happiness in ourselves and genuine compassion for others.

In Loving-Kindness meditation we focus on developing feelings of goodwill, kindness, and warmth towards ourselves and towards others (including difficult people), through the repetition of phrases or "well-wishes", as a pathway to cultivating happiness, appreciation, forgiveness, satisfaction, and ultimate acceptance.

                                                          What to Expect;

In this 60-min workshop, you'll be introduced to the theoretic and practical components of Loving-Kindness meditation and its wide-ranging emotional, physiological, and psychological benefits, through direct instruction and guided meditation using classical techniques in a modern idiom.

You'll have adequate opportunities for questions and interaction with other participants.
